ISAP 2011: 4th Congress
The 4th Congress of the International Society for Applied Phycology will be held in Halifax, Canada from June 19th - 24th, 2011. The meeting will be hosted by Canada’s
National Research Council - Institute for Marine Biosciences at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. Located in the heart of the city, this venue provides an opportunity to experience our vibrant and historic waterfront. Join your colleagues to discuss relevant issues regarding the cultivation, application, and commercialization of algae.
Under the auspices of the ISAP, our local organizing committee of algal researchers and industry leaders have been actively planning the ISAP 2011 Congress and we are now ready to receive your abstracts under our meeting theme: "Scaling-up for new opportunities in applied phycology".
By following the abstract submission instructions on the congress web site (www.ISAP2011-Halifax.org) you can easily upload your abstract through an internet-based submission process. A technical committee will peer review all submissions received by the deadline date of February 11, 2011. All accepted authors of oral or poster presentations will be notified by March 11th and will be invited to submit full papers for publication in the ISAP 2011 Congress Proceedings in the Journal of Applied Phycology. The instructions for authors submitting their articles for the Congress Proceedings can be found at www.ISAP2011-Halifax.org.
